We are loving the warm weather going on lately!!! Audrey loves playing outside, especially with her Aunt Kate and Kate's friends out in the playhouse. Yesterday, Audrey was motioning to go outside to play. It was just her and me playing. We got out the little dishes from the fisher price kitchen set and Audrey set them out on the little table like she had seen Aunt Kate do. We pretended to eat off the plates with little spoons. She was so adorable. I am amazed at how much she observes and repeats. Then it was time to go inside and she cried.
Today she was giving me the sign for "eat". We went in the kitchen so she could show me what snack she wanted. I got so confused because she was pointing outside. I thought maybe she really didn't understand the "eat" sign. She's only been doing it the past week or so, but we went outside to figure out what she was trying to say. Of course!! She wanted another "tea party". It was adorable. She set the dishes out just like before. This time though, she wanted the dog food from the bag we had stored in there. Gross! I guess she thought if it was good enough for her doggies it was good enough for us.
