We all needed a major vacation this year!! Josh has been working two jobs until the insurance kicks in for the new job so he's super tired and deserves a major break. I'm just growing a baby... like that's not hard work. Ha! Ha! So we took off for Vegas!!!
The big event of the weekend was taking Audrey to the aquariums at Mandalay Bay. Any of you parents out there, this is a must see for the kids! Audrey loved it!! It's not little fish tanks either. The biggest was so large there were many full size sharks, sea turtles and large fish, plus you can walk through a tunnel and be completely surrounded by the aquarium. At the time we visited there were two divers inside checking out things I guess to make sure everything was good with the animals. Audrey thought that was really cool that people could be in there. She waved like crazy at them
Audrey also got to go to Fremont Street to see the light show. She loved that. Circus Circus was also fun. Josh won her two stuffed animals and she got to play the game where you toss the ping pong ball at the little dishes floating in the water. She won more chances to play, but no prizes. I think she had fun just being able to play the game. The funniest part of Circus Circus is when she saw a lot of the rides, including the roller coaster, she would say, "me too, me too!" I think she's going to be our little dare devil. I can't wait to go on her first big roller coaster with her.
We dyed eggs and I realized this is the first year she's really done it. Grandpa Joe bought her an egg dying set with mouth and eye stickers to put on the eggs when they were done. Josh hid the eggs. When I got up it was like I was being watched by all those little eyes. Audrey kept calling out, "eggies, eggies!" and pointing to them all. We had a great time.

That sounds like a fun trip. I can't believe how much he's had to work lately. I hope insurance kicks in soon.
